Starting to utilize QEPANET

As discussed, the next major step in the hydraulic system design is to start directly creating the system. We will be doing this using QEPANET, which actually is a built in function for QGIS that we can use directly in the same project that the current map is.

  1. Create a tutorial on how to download and install QEPANET into QGIS
  2. Start to take notes on how to utilize the plugin, quick guides, helpful tips, etc.
  3. Figure out if we need to create extra separate layers
  4. Figure out what layers we will need to utilize to start designing the distribution system

Some ideas: LIDAR data for elevation, GPS points for lat, long positions, external background map to make it look nice, watershed and boundary information?
